ABOUT
Alaska | She/Her | Artist | 20
Hello and welcome to my page!I'm Alaska, an artist who enjoys horror, fantasy, and history. While I specialize in drawing humans, monsters, and mythical creatures, I'm always open to exploring new things! Here's a little list of fun facts:
I play the hurdy-gurdy! It's a super awesome medieval instrument that I definitely recommend checking out.
While I can't really say I belong to a particular fandom, I do enjoy Chainsaw Man, Lovecraft, Attack on Titan (ignoring the ending), Saga, and various historical things!
I have a pet ball python and a pet cat! They're both my entire world :D
I really like traditional folk music! If you couldn't already tell by my choice of instrument.
I'm currently working on a three-part graphic novel series called Invocation! It's in its baby stages, but it should be pretty cool when it's all finished.
Don't be afraid to shoot me a message if you have any questions <3

Q: When do you open your commissions?
A: I don't really have a set schedule as it depends on time and motivation. When I do open them, I'll send out updates on my various social medias <3!Q: Can I commission you via another platform (DMs, email, etc.)?
A: Nope! To keep things organized, I prefer clients to order through the commission form (which will be accessible after reading through my TOS).Q: Can I negotiate a different price?
A: Nope, all prices are final!Q: Do you take any other payment methods?
A: Sorry, but I can only accept USD through PayPal! I will send you an invoice once I have your PayPal email.
Q: Do you do requests/art trades?
A: No, sorry. I'll occasionally do art trades, but those will usually be between myself and my friends!Q: Can I trace or reference your art?
A: You may reference (for learning purposes only - i.e. do not post or claim as your own work), but please don't trace!Q: How long have you been drawing?
A: I started taking drawing seriously back in 2017!Q: How long do your drawings take?
A: It depends on the specific piece, but the quickest drawings are usually around 4 tracked hours, while the longest ones can reach 30+ hours!Q: Have you taken any art classes?
A: Up until university, I was entirely self-taught. But now I'm studying animation, so I've been taking a lot of different art classes - figure drawing has definitely been the most helpful, and I can vouch for how beneficial figure studies and general anatomy lessons are!
TOS
To access the commission page, you must first read through the ToS!
If you commission me, you automatically agree to my terms of service. Failure to abide will result in a cancellation of the commission and/or a place on my blacklist.

Artwork
1. I retain all rights to the artwork.
As the artist, I retain full rights to the image, with the ability to use the image in galleries, sell as prints/merchandise, and to display/use for my own purposes.2. Commission use.
The buyer may post and use the commission for any purpose except: taking credit for creating the artwork, posting the artwork publicly without credit to myself, reproducing the art for profit, or altering and subsequently distributing the altered artwork without permission.3. All products are digital.
The commissioned works are digital, and the buyer will receive high-quality digital .png files upon completion. PSD files are available upon request (if you need the PSD image for any specific purpose, convey this when ordering). No physical copies are mailed to the buyer.4. Deadlines.
Because I am a student and have other responsibilities, I do not take commissions with a deadline. However, I will do my best to finish commissions within 1-4 months or sooner after starting. (If I think a delay will occur on my end, I will let you know).5. Partial Refunds only.
You may ask for a refund at any time before image completion; full refunds will only be given before I begin work on the image. Once it has been started, I will give a partial refund based on what's already been completed:Sketch | 75% refund
Lineart/Base Colors | 50% refund
Background | 25% refund
Shading/Lighting Effects | 0% refund6. Given price quotes are subject to change.
Please keep in mind that the listed prices are an estimate. Examples of expected price changes:
> Character complexity. Adds +5$ - +30$ due to the extra time needed to render complex characters, clothes, jewelry, or markings.
**> Changes after completion. **Up to 3 minor changes after commission completion are free; further or medium-large changes will be $5-15 per change, or not possible depending upon the nature of the request.
(In general, unusual features or requests that increase time spent on the commission will increase price!)7. Payment is upfront.
I require all commission payments to be upfront; please pay within 1 week of commission confirmation or your slot will be given away to another client.8. I reserve the right to decline commissions for no given reason.
Additionally, commissions will generally be declined unless I have declared they are open on social medias, or they are listed as OPEN on this website.
Design
These apply to the Custom Design commission option or premade Adoptable designs that I've sold!
1. Credit for the design.
Please credit me the first time you draw the design and when making references for it. If there are any character hosting sites (Toyhouse, Refsheet, Artfight, etc.) with a 'designer' option, then be sure to link it back to one of my pages.2. Payment within 48 hours.
If you obtained the design via auction or flatsale, payment must be made within 48 hours or the design will go back up for auction.3. Notify me if selling or trading the design.
Please notify me if you are selling/trading/giving away the design, so I can keep tabs on who the legitimate owners are.4. For Design Commissions: scrapped concepts are artist property.
For design commissions, I will send multiple roughly sketched/color design concepts until you are satisfied with the design concept, whereupon I will begin the clean fullbody version of the design using your approved version. Any undesired/unused or discarded concepts are considered my property and subject to later use or resale without the need to notify the client.
YOU MAY:
Make changes to the design (with credit to me as the original designer). This includes change of species.
Add clothes, scars, accessories, etc.
Use the design as your original character or as your mascot.
Make merchandise, prints, etc. of your own artwork that features the design.
Use the design for book, game, or other media, as long as I am credited somewhere in that media.
YOU MAY NOT:
Claim that you created the design or claim creation of the original artwork.
Resell the design for a higher value than what you bought it for + any artwork that the design has accumulated.
Reproduce and sell the original artwork made by myself for profit.
Process
BEFORE:
1. Be sure that my commissions are open! They will be listed as OPEN on my home page here, or I will have announced them as OPEN on one of my social medias. Remember I have the right to decline commissions for any reason.2. Fill out the form linked on the COMMISSIONS page. Be sure to list out all relevant information and mention anything unusual you'd like to request, it will help save us both time in the longrun.4. I will reply within 1-2 days letting you know the price quote for the commission and any other relevant details. Once any questions I have are confirmed, I'll send you an invoice through PayPal.5. Payment must be made in full before I begin the commission. Pay within 1 week or your slot will be given away to someone else.6. You'll then be guaranteed a commission slot, and I'll start work as soon as I'm able! (Sometimes there will be people ahead of you in line who had paid first, please be patient if that's the case!)7. If slots were full when you requested a commission, I may be able to put you on the Waitlist. You can view status of your commission and others from my QUEUE. Keep in mind there is not a definitive time between when I finish the current set of commissions before I start approaching people on the waitlist.
DURING:
1. Although I do not take deadlines, commission time to completion is expected to be 1-4 months after I start. The order in which I work on commissions is in my queue.2. I will send a sketch WIP shortly after starting, or a choice of 2+ sketch thumbnails if you purchased a scene. During this time, you are encouraged to ask for changes that you would like. No major changes to composition or posing can be made after the sketch stage, so please be sure you're happy with the sketch before I move to flatcolors!3. If you would like more WIPs (up to 3 more) throughout the commission process, please let me know in the form.4. After the sketch has been approved, I will go ahead and complete the image. If I have any other questions or if you requested WIP updates, I will contact you via your method of contact for clarification; if I don't hear back within 2-3 days, I will continue onward with the drawing.5. I retain the right to livestream drawing process of the commission.
COMPLETION:
1. After the commission is completed, I will send you the full size image via email in .png format. You may also request a .psd of the commission.2. Up to 3 minor changes can be made for free after the commission is finished, but any medium-large changes may not be possible, or will incur an extra fee (see my TOS for details). I decide if a requested change is minor or medium/large.4. Speedpaints may or may not be included, and do not cost anything extra!4. Commissions will likely be posted on my social media a few days after completion.5. As the commissioner, you are free to post, upload, and use the finished commission as you please (while following my TOS).Don't be afraid to send me a message if you have any questions <3!
